Stainless Steel Piping Systems Expert

Dongguan Huawei Southern Factory

Dongguan Huawei Southern Factory is one of Franta's industrial application projects using stainless steel piping systems. To meet the requirements of electronics and high-tech manufacturing facilities with multiple production areas, concentrated equipment, widely distributed auxiliary water-use points, and high demands for production continuity, Franta provides stainless steel pipes, matching fittings, and valves to support production auxiliary water supply, equipment make-up water, cleaning water, and related industrial water systems throughout the factory. Project Type: Industrial Application / Factory Water Systems / Electronics Manufacturing Project Location: Dongguan, Guangdong, China Application scenarios: Production Auxiliary Water Supply, Equipment Make-Up Water, Cleaning Water, and Related Industrial Water Piping Systems Solution: Franta Stainless Steel Piping System Solution for Industrial Factory Water Applications Product used: Stainless Steel Pipes, Press-Fit / Ring-Press Fittings, Valves, and Piping Accessories (subject to the actual supply list) Service Support: Product Supply, Technical Coordination, Installation Support, Project Services, and After-Sales Support

Project Background

Electronics and high-tech manufacturing facilities typically include multiple functional areas such as production workshops, equipment areas, R&D spaces, and auxiliary facilities. In addition to domestic water supply for employees, these facilities may also require equipment make-up water, production auxiliary water, cleaning water, and other industrial water systems.

These factories generally contain dense production equipment and complex MEP systems. Piping needs to be coordinated with electrical systems, HVAC, utility systems, and production equipment, while also meeting the requirements for stable long-term operation and convenient maintenance in continuous production environments.

As production equipment is upgraded and manufacturing processes are adjusted, some water-use points and equipment interfaces within the factory may also change. Industrial water piping systems therefore need to support initial construction, long-term operation, and future expansion.

Key Project Requirements and Challenges

Large Factory Areas with Widely Distributed Water-Use Points

Production workshops, equipment areas, and auxiliary spaces may be located far apart, requiring main pipelines, branch lines, and equipment connections to form a stable industrial water supply network.

Production Equipment Requires Stable Water Supply

Some equipment make-up water, cleaning processes, and production auxiliary applications require continuous water supply. Pressure abnormalities or localized water interruptions may affect normal production.

Corrosion in Conventional Metal Pipes May Affect Equipment

If rust and particles are generated during long-term use of conventional metal piping, they may increase the load on filtration equipment and affect certain precision equipment and related water systems.

Piping Modifications Can Be Difficult After Factory Operations Begin

When piping maintenance or expansion is carried out while production lines remain operational, construction needs to minimize disruption to production areas and equipment operation.

Franta Solution

To meet the requirements of electronics manufacturing facilities with extensive industrial water systems, numerous equipment interfaces, and continuous operating demands, Franta can configure stainless steel piping systems according to actual water quality, pressure, pipe diameter, and equipment conditions.

Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel Water Piping

Stainless steel pipes offer good corrosion resistance and smooth internal surfaces, helping reduce the effects of long-term corrosion and scaling commonly associated with conventional metal piping and better supporting factory production and equipment water requirements.

Connection Methods Configured for Different Pipe Diameters

Small- and medium-diameter branch lines can use press-fit connections for fast installation, while larger-diameter main pipelines can use grooved or flanged connections according to design requirements, creating an integrated piping system across different sections of the factory.

Independent Zone Control for Equipment Areas

Branch lines and valves can be configured for different workshops, production lines, and equipment areas, making equipment maintenance and localized water shutoff easier while reducing the impact on normal operation in other areas.

Support for Future Factory Expansion and Upgrades

When new production equipment is added or manufacturing processes are adjusted, additional branch lines and equipment interfaces can be connected to existing main pipelines, improving the long-term adaptability of the industrial water supply network.

Project Value

Stable Water Supply

The piping system provides a stable industrial water distribution foundation for production areas, equipment, and related auxiliary systems.

Reduced Piping Contamination

Corrosion-resistant stainless steel pipes with smooth internal surfaces help reduce rust and particle generation from the piping itself.

Efficient Installation

Standardized mechanical connection methods help reduce complex on-site installation procedures and better accommodate industrial factory environments.

Convenient Maintenance

Zoned piping and valve configurations can reduce the impact of localized equipment maintenance on water supply across the entire factory.

Easy System Expansion

The piping system can be expanded with additional branch lines and equipment interfaces as production lines are adjusted, supporting the factory's long-term development requirements.
