Zhejiang Franta Co., Ltd. was established in 1998 and is headquartered in Cixi, Zhejiang. Covering an area of 108,000 square meters, the company is a comprehensive stainless steel manufacturer integrating research and development, manufacturing, sales, and service.

The company has long been deeply engaged in the stainless steel products sector and has now established three major business segments: fan and kitchen appliance components, stainless steel piping systems, and high-end stainless steel sinks. With capabilities spanning product R&D, mold development, precision stamping, deep drawing, welding, surface treatment, and large-scale production, we offer customers OEM, ODM, and customized manufacturing services for stainless steel products.

Folante holds 28 independently developed patents, has participated in the drafting of national and industry standards more than 28 times, and served as the chief editor of the “Made in Zhejiang” standard for “Stainless Steel Compression‑Type Pipe Fittings.” The company’s products are widely used in construction projects, kitchen and bathroom applications, industrial equipment, and commercial infrastructure, with its stainless steel piping systems having supported over 7,000 projects, including Beijing Daxing International Airport, China Resources Headquarters in Shenzhen, and Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai.

1995

The company’s predecessor, Cixi Blower Factory, was established. At the invitation of Ningbo Fotile, it successfully developed fan products for European-style range hoods. With high airflow and low noise, the products earned market recognition, and the company became a key supplier to Fotile Kitchenware Co., Ltd.

1999

The company successfully developed a deep-drawn integral stainless steel sink, increasing the one-piece drawing depth to 180 mm. This set a world record for the depth of integral deep-drawn sinks at the time and was granted a national invention patent certificate.

2001

The company obtained ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification and began cooperating with Fortune Brands Inc. in the United States, producing stainless steel sinks for the MOEN brand.

2006

Ningbo Franta Piping Co., Ltd. was established, and the DN15–DN50 stainless steel press fitting production line officially commenced operation.

2008

The company participated in a technical seminar on press fitting standards and officially became a contributing organization in the development of the new standard for press fittings.

2011

The installation and commissioning of large-scale pipe manufacturing equipment were completed, expanding the production range to DN200, and an online solution annealing system was introduced.

2013

Construction began on the 60-mu Phase II facility, expanding the production capacity for stainless steel sinks and stainless steel piping products.

2018

The company drafted the “Zhejiang Made” group standard T/ZZB 0452-2018, Stainless Steel Press Fittings.

2021

The company was recognized by the China Urban Water Association as one of the first recommended enterprises for “Excellent Equipment and Material Products (Water Supply and Drainage Pipes).” By that year, the company had participated in drafting and contributing to 16 national and industry standards.

2022

In 2022, the company contributed to several national and industry standards, bringing its total participation to more than 20. It also filed multiple utility model patents and obtained 12-star After-sales Service Management Maturity Certification and Intellectual Property Management System Certification.

2023

The company passed the re-evaluation for High-Tech Enterprise status and established a Materials and Environmental Laboratory. It won annual centralized procurement projects for stainless steel pipes and fittings from urban development and water utility groups in Hunan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, and other regions, and was recognized as a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative” SME in Ningbo.

2024

In 2024, the company received the dual honors of “Outstanding Contribution Enterprise” and “Industry Famous Brand” in the water supply and drainage industry. It also obtained Product Carbon Footprint and EPD certification, and was recognized as an AAA-level “Contract-Honoring and Creditworthy Enterprise” in Zhejiang Province.

2025

In 2025, the company was recognized as a “2024 Three-Star Green Factory of Cixi City.” GB/T 19228.1-2024, which it helped draft, came into effect, and the company obtained German DVGW certification.

2026

In 2026, the company received the dual honors of “Outstanding Contribution Enterprise” and “Industry Famous Brand” for the ninth consecutive term, and contributed to the drafting of the “Good Houses” water supply and drainage technical guidelines.
