Shenzhen Taihua Wutonglinju
Project Background
Large urban residential communities typically include multiple buildings, concentrated populations, extensive water supply networks, and long operating cycles, placing high requirements on the reliability and overall coordination of building water supply systems.
Shenzhen Taihua Wutonglinju is located in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, near Xin'an Station on Metro Line 1, with well-developed surrounding amenities. The project places strong emphasis on landscaping and green space, with a greenery rate of approximately 40%. Its semi-enclosed planning layout creates a central garden and multiple themed courtyards, helping improve the overall residential environment and community quality.
For a large residential development of this type, the water supply system needs to serve multiple buildings and a large number of residents over the long term. Since a significant proportion of the piping is concealed within the building, pipe durability, connection reliability, installation efficiency, and convenient future maintenance are all important considerations during project construction.
Key Project Requirements and Challenges
Extensive Piping Coverage Across a Large Residential Community
The project includes multiple buildings, multiple floors, and a large number of households. With numerous main pipelines, branch lines, and terminal piping sections, the water supply system requires strong overall coordination and stable long-term operation.
Numerous Connection Points Require High Connection Reliability
Residential buildings contain a large number of changes in direction, branches, and connection points from main pipelines to floor distribution and in-unit branch lines, placing high requirements on standardized and reliable connection methods.
Long-Term Maintenance Pressure for Concealed Piping
After residential buildings are delivered, a large amount of water supply piping remains concealed within the building. If connection or pipeline failures occur, normal residential use may be affected. The project therefore places strong emphasis on system quality and long-term durability from the initial construction stage.
Multiple Pipe Diameters Require an Integrated System
Large residential projects often include larger-diameter main pipelines together with small- and medium-diameter branch lines. Suitable connection methods need to be selected for different pipe diameters while maintaining coordinated integration across the entire piping system.
Franta Solution
Based on the water supply requirements of Taihua Wutonglinju as a large residential community, the project adopted Franta 316L stainless steel piping products with a combination of double press-fit and grooved connections to meet piping connection requirements across different pipe diameters and building areas.
316L Stainless Steel Piping System
The project uses 316L stainless steel pipes with good corrosion resistance and long-term stability, providing a reliable piping foundation for the continuously operating water supply system of a large residential community.
Double Press-Fit Connections
Small- and medium-diameter pipelines use double press-fit connections completed with standardized tools and matching fittings, making them suitable for the numerous branches and connection points found in residential projects.
Grooved Connections for Larger Pipe Diameters
For larger-diameter pipelines within the project, grooved connections can be used in combination with the double press-fit system, meeting different connection requirements from main pipelines to branch lines.
Integrated Products and Project Services
Stainless steel pipes, press-fit fittings, grooved fittings, and related piping products are supplied as an integrated system. Combined with product supply, technical coordination, and installation support, this helps support the implementation of the project's stainless steel piping system.
Project Value
Stable and Durable
316L stainless steel pipes provide a stable and reliable water distribution foundation for the long-term and high-frequency water use requirements of a large residential community.
Reliable Connections
Double press-fit and grooved connections are matched to different pipe diameters and installation locations, creating a more complete connection solution for the residential water supply system.
Efficient Installation
Standardized connection methods help improve on-site installation efficiency and better accommodate the construction environment of large residential projects with multiple buildings and complex branch piping.
Long-Term Operation and Maintenance
Durable pipe materials and integrated connection methods are well suited to the long-term use and future maintenance requirements of concealed residential piping systems.
