Project Background
Healthcare buildings are a type of public building with particularly high requirements for water supply systems. Peking University International Hospital has a total floor area of approximately 440,000 square meters and 1,800 approved beds, making it a large-scale medical complex with extensive healthcare functions. For a major general hospital of this type, the piping system must not only meet the daily water needs of a large number of people, but also provide long-term service across different medical and public areas.
A large proportion of hospital piping is concealed within the building. Once the facility is in operation, large-scale repairs may affect normal medical services.
