Franta Conducts Fire Safety Drill to Strengthen Emergency Preparedness

On May 29, 2026, Franta conducted a comprehensive fire safety drill to strengthen employee safety awareness and emergency response capabilities. With professional guidance from the Changhe Fire and Rescue Station, the program included fire safety training, evacuation exercises, emergency rescue demonstrations, and hands-on firefighting equipment practice, further enhancing Franta’s workplace safety management and emergency preparedness.

To further strengthen fire safety awareness among employees, improve emergency response capabilities, enhance overall workplace safety management, and protect both employees and company property, Franta organized a comprehensive fire safety drill on May 29, 2026. The company attached great importance to the exercise, with Vice General Manager Mou Haifeng serving as the chief commander and professional firefighters from the Changhe Fire and Rescue Station invited to provide on-site guidance.

Strengthening Safety Awareness and Building a Solid Foundation

At 2:50 p.m., the company conducted fire safety training covering fire prevention, emergency alarm procedures, evacuation, self-rescue and mutual assistance, and the proper use of firefighting equipment.

During the training, professionals from the Changhe Fire and Rescue Station used representative fire incidents to explain the causes of fire accidents and corresponding prevention measures, helping employees further improve their knowledge of fire safety and emergency response procedures.

Simulated Fire Emergency Tests Response Capabilities

At 3:40 p.m., the fire alarm sounded and the emergency evacuation drill officially began.

The exercise simulated a fire breaking out in a production workshop. Employees from all departments responded quickly under the direction of evacuation coordinators and entered emergency evacuation mode in accordance with the company’s emergency response plan. Covering their noses and mouths with towels or clothing and keeping a low posture, employees evacuated quickly and orderly along designated routes to the designated safe assembly area.

Throughout the evacuation, employees responded rapidly and maintained good order. Each emergency response team carried out its assigned responsibilities and coordinated closely in accordance with established procedures for site control, personnel evacuation, and emergency response, demonstrating strong safety awareness and effective emergency response capability.

After arriving at the designated assembly point, each workshop and department quickly organized employees into groups and conducted headcounts. Department leaders carefully verified attendance and reported evacuation results through the established chain of command to ensure that all participating personnel had evacuated safely.

Practical Training Builds Emergency Response Skills

After the evacuation and headcount were completed, firefighters conducted an on-site emergency rescue demonstration. The exercise simulated an injury during a fire incident, with firefighters demonstrating casualty assessment, emergency first aid, and stretcher transport while explaining key safety considerations and operating procedures during rescue operations.

The firefighters then explained the functions and correct use of firefighting equipment such as fire extinguishers and fire hoses, followed by live demonstrations using simulated fire scenarios. Particular attention was given to the proper operation of dry powder fire extinguishers, with the key steps demonstrated in sequence to help employees systematically develop the skills needed to respond to an initial-stage fire.

Under the guidance of professional firefighters, employee representatives actively participated in hands-on fire extinguisher training, turning theoretical knowledge into practical capability. Participants observed carefully, interacted actively, and further improved their fire safety skills and emergency response competence.

In addition, firefighters demonstrated practical techniques including fire hose connection, nozzle operation, and high-pressure water supply, while guiding employee representatives through hands-on operation. The demonstration provided a close look at the practical performance of firefighting equipment and the capabilities required for fire suppression and rescue operations. Employees were able to observe professional firefighting procedures at close range and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of standardized emergency response practices.

Through this immersive training approach, employees further improved their understanding of the correct use of firefighting equipment and key emergency response procedures. The exercise effectively strengthened fire safety awareness and practical response capabilities, helping translate safety principles into everyday actions.

Strengthening the Safety Foundation for High-Quality Development

The fire safety drill was successfully completed, effectively improving employees’ fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities while also testing the practicality of the company’s emergency plans and the effectiveness of its safety management system.

Franta has always followed the principle of “safety first, prevention first,” integrating workplace safety throughout its business operations and management processes. The company continues to improve its safety management mechanisms, strengthen risk prevention and control, and regularly organize safety education, training, and emergency drills. By continuously improving employee safety awareness and emergency response capabilities, Franta aims to provide a safe, stable, and well-managed working environment while supporting the company’s long-term, high-quality development.
