Franta Promotes Zero-Defect Quality Culture Through Company-Wide Learning

To further strengthen its zero-defect quality management philosophy and corporate quality culture, Franta held a company-wide learning event on May 19, 2026, organized by its Quality Assurance Department. Through the distribution and study of Doing Things Right the First Time, Franta aims to reinforce quality awareness, preventive management, and continuous improvement across every department and process.

To further strengthen Franta’s zero-defect management philosophy and continuously promote its quality culture, a book distribution event for Doing Things Right the First Time, initiated by Franta’s Quality Assurance Department, was successfully held on May 19, 2026, in the conference room on the second floor of the company’s administrative building. Franta Vice General Manager Mou Haifeng and representatives from various departments attended the event.

Franta has always followed a quality-centered development philosophy and continues to advance its zero-defect quality management system. The event was designed to strengthen quality awareness across the company through systematic learning and cultural communication, helping the principle of “doing things right the first time” become part of daily work and be implemented in every position, every process, and every detail.

During the event, Vice General Manager Mou Haifeng presented copies of Doing Things Right the First Time to representatives from different departments. He emphasized that quality is not only vital to the long-term development of a company, but also an important part of its core competitiveness. Zero-defect management is more than a management methodology; it also represents a sense of responsibility and a professional approach to work. He encouraged all employees to deepen their understanding of zero-defect management through reading and practical application, maintain high standards and strict requirements, and approach every task with greater rigor and professionalism.

The book Doing Things Right the First Time provides a systematic introduction to the zero-defect management philosophy, emphasizing that quality should not depend solely on inspection, but should be built by doing things right from the beginning. Through prevention, standardized execution, and full-process quality management, the approach aims to minimize errors and waste while continuously improving operational efficiency and product quality. The book’s author, Yang Gang, is recognized as a pioneer of zero-defect management in China and studied under Philip B. Crosby, widely known as the “father of zero defects.” Yang has long been committed to promoting and applying zero-defect management practices among Chinese enterprises. The concept of zero defects was originally introduced by Philip B. Crosby in the 1960s and remains an influential theory in modern quality management and corporate quality system development worldwide.

Franta has consistently promoted the development of its corporate quality culture through management system optimization, internal communication, training, and continuous learning. Moving forward, the company will continue to focus on its zero-defect management goals, strengthen quality awareness among all employees, and build a more professional, efficient, and high-performing quality management system to support the company’s long-term high-quality development.
